Dr. Egwuchim coordinates the execution of m3’s National Cancer Prevention Programme (NCPP) — the programmatic spine of the m3 mobile health system. His function is delivery at scale: converting the architecture of the NCPP into structured, field-level outcomes across Nigeria’s communities.

As Director of Research and Development, he drives the evidence base that informs m3’s programme design, validates its operational model, and advances preventive oncology in Nigeria. As coordinator of the BIG WAR Against Cancer, he leads a large-scale public health mobilisation — extending cancer prevention from clinical settings into population-level engagement.

Multi-Specialty Clinical & Programme Depth

Dr. Egwuchim draws on over three decades of clinical and administrative practice across the public, private, and nonprofit health sectors. His postgraduate training spans Preventive Oncology, Family Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology, with postgraduate fellowships and certifications across Nigeria, Ghana and India — a combination that equips him to address cancer prevention across its full clinical range, from population screening to specialist intervention.

He holds fellowships from the International Society of Minimal Access Surgery, the International Society of Gastroenterology, and the International Society of Colposcopy, alongside diplomas in Minimal Access Surgery and Robotic Surgery. This specialist depth directly informs the clinical standards of m3’s screening and outreach programmes.

His postgraduate management training at the Lagos Business School (Pan Atlantic University) grounds his operational leadership in institutional practice — enabling him to coordinate complex, multi-site programme delivery with the rigour the m3 system demands.

Delivering the NCPP at National Scale

Dr. Egwuchim coordinates the full operational reach of the National Cancer Prevention Programme — m3’s primary vehicle for structured cancer prevention, awareness, and screening across Nigeria. Under his coordination, the NCPP has expanded from a single-disease focus into a multi-cancer, multi-specialty programme delivered through m3’s integrated mobile health infrastructure.

He leads the BIG WAR Against Cancer in Nigeria — mobilising communities, building awareness at scale, and converting engagement into tangible screening and follow-up outcomes.

His role as Director of Research and Development ensures that m3’s operational model remains evidence-grounded. The 2020 analysis of over 9,000 beneficiaries — which validated the gateway effect of integrated mobile delivery — reflects the research culture Dr. Egwuchim has established within the organisation.

As a Trustee of mass medical mission, he holds institutional accountability for the integrity and direction of the organisation alongside his operational responsibilities — positioning him as executor of the m3 system with institutional accountability for delivery.
